Something has to change and you can feel it.
You’re going through the motions. Everything feels overwhelming or draining, and your normal mode of just pushing through isn’t delivering results anymore. You keep telling yourself once I get past this next thing, once the deadline’s met, once the holidays come, once things calm down but the calm never arrives.
The gaps between crashing and recovering keep getting smaller, and lately it feels deeper than it used to. You’re not bouncing back.
On the outside, you look like you have it all together. The career, the competence, the composure. But underneath, there’s a constant hum of anxiety that won’t switch off. You’re exhausted, both physically and mentally, with little energy left for yourself or the people you love.
You walk through the door after giving everything you have at work and you’ve got nothing left. The people who matter most are getting the worst of you, and you know it.
You can’t give anything 100% anymore. Not work, not home, not yourself. And somewhere underneath the exhaustion and the overwhelm, there’s a question you keep coming back to: I’ve lost myself. I just want to feel like me again.
"Emma is calm and supportive. She is thoughtful, reliable and wise. Emma’s practical, respectful and kind nature has meant so very much to me. Emma is incredibly knowledgeable and well rounded. She's the most insightful, realistic, flexible and practical person I've ever known"

You might recognise this:
-
You constantly replay conversations and second-guess decisions. You step out of a meeting that went well and immediately think of three things you should have said differently. The overthinking keeps you stuck in a loop of self-doubt, and no matter how much you achieve, there’s always a voice whispering you could have done more.
-
You hold yourself to a standard you’d never ask of anyone else. You can be a cheerleader for your friends and your team, but you can’t do it for yourself. You set the bar impossibly high — and when you inevitably fall short, you don’t lower the bar. You raise it. And the gap between where you are and where you think you should be just keeps growing.
-
Your body is telling you something isn’t right. Maybe it’s the disrupted sleep, waking in the early hours with your mind already racing. Maybe it’s the IBS, the fatigue, the tension you carry in your shoulders. Your GP might have mentioned stress. Your body’s been sending you signals for a while — and you’ve been pushing through them.
-
You’re disconnected from the people you love most. You’re either in work mode, transactional mode, or retreat mode. You struggle to be present — your partner is talking and you’re nodding, but you’re not really there. You can’t remember the last time you felt genuinely light and actually had fun.
-
You feel guilty when you’re not being productive. Downtime makes you restless. Even the things that are supposed to help — the meditation, the journalling, the walks — have started to feel like more items on the to-do list rather than something that’ actually shifting anything underneath.
-
You’ve tried. You’ve read the self-help books, listened to the podcasts, maybe done some CBT or counselling. It might have helped for a while, but the patterns keep repeating. There’s something deeper that none of it is reaching — and you know it.
-
Part of you feels like even seeking help is self-indulgent. There are people who have it worse. You’ve got a good life. You don’t ask for help. You’ve spent years being the strong one, and admitting you’re struggling feels like weakness.
If you’re nodding along, know this: none of this means there’s something wrong with you. It means your nervous system has been in overdrive for too long and the strategies you’ve been using don’t go deep enough. With the right support, it doesn’t have to stay this way.
Working with Emma has been one of the best decisions and best investments I have made for myself. I wish I had done it sooner. Having a trained professional to support you is a totally different experience to self-help, and in my case, far more effective, and this is the value in investing in therapy.

-
To wake up feeling calm, refreshed, and ready for the day. Without that immediate rush of anxiety or dread.
-
To feel confident in yourself, your abilities, and your decisions. Not second-guessing. Not performing. Just trusting that you are enough, as you are, without having to earn it.
-
To be genuinely present with your family - not nodding along while your mind is somewhere else, but actually there. Enjoying dinner. Having fun. Being the mum, partner, and friend you want to be.
-
To have the tools to handle whatever comes your way; a grounding technique you can use mid-meeting, a way to decompress after a hard day, without it feeling like another task on the list.
-
To keep striving, achieving and growing in your career - but without it costing you everything else. Success that doesn’t come at the expense of your health, your relationships, or your joy.
This is what becomes possible when you stop trying to manage anxiety at the surface and start working at the root — without the BS of short-term fixes.

Sophies Story
Sophie was on the verge of giving up her career, overwhelmed and feeling unable to cope. Through the Freedom Formula, she reduced her anxiety, silenced her inner critic, and reconnected with herself. Today, she’s thriving, her nervous system is regulated, she’s enjoying more time with her family, and she’s landed a promotion with a bonus. She describes her life now as “completely transformed.”
"It's given me new foundations and a trust in myself. Before, I thought worrying would prepare me, now I know I don't have to worry, because I can trust that I can cope with whatever comes. I just feel more fulfilment in everything."

This is for you if...
You know something deeper needs to change — not just better coping, but actually resolving what’s driving the anxiety in the first place

This isn't the right fit if:
You’re done with surface-level fixes. You’ve tried the breathing techniques and the apps. You want to go beyond that and uncover the root cause
You're looking for an instant fix or prefer to just be told to breathe
You want real, practical strategies that actually stick — not generic advice that sounds good but doesn’t last
You're not willing to look at what may be going on underneath your anxiety and overwhelm.
You’re not looking to slow down or scale back your life — you’re looking to be able to live it fully without burning out
Your Path to Lasting Freedom
The Freedom Formula™

Most people try to stop anxiety at the surface with breathing techniques, positive thinking, or just pushing through. But anxiety doesn’t live at the surface. It lives in your subconscious, in your nervous system, and in the patterns you’ve been carrying since you were young. That’s why those approaches don’t stick. They’re working on the tip of the iceberg while everything that’s driving your anxiety is underneath.
The Freedom Formula™ is the method I’ve developed through 17+ years of experience, designed specifically for women like you. We don’t just soothe the symptoms. We go to where it all started and we change it there.
I’m Emma, I help high-achieving women who look successful on the outside but privately feel anxious, overwhelmed, and burnt out.
Women who want to regain control over their lives, feel more confident, and have a healthy work-life balance so they can spend more time with and doing the things they love while still smashing it in their career.
I know what it feels like because I’ve lived it. I’d just received a promotion I’d worked so hard to achieve when I was involved in a car accident, and overnight, everything changed. The brain injury, anxiety, PTSD, fatigue and chronic pain made my life feel unrecognisable. As any high-achieving, perfectionist, people-pleaser would, I pushed through until I hit my ultimate burnout.
Something had to change. That journey of healing transformed my life, and today I help others find their own path to balance, confidence, and freedom.
With over 17 years of clinical experience, I’m a registered Social Worker with Social Work England, a qualified therapist and clinical hypnotherapist, trained in CBT, DBT, trauma-informed practice, breathwork, and emotional regulation. I am in Nottingham and work online with women across the UK.
